Anne Flitcroft, RN, BSN

Anne Flitcroft is Vice President of Risk Management at Physicians Insurance. She has over 25 years of healthcare industry experience, much of it in clinical risk management and patient safety.

Anne joined Physicians Insurance in 2016 as a Senior Healthcare Risk Management Consultant, then ascended to Manager of Risk Consulting and Director of Risk Management before assuming her current role. She is credited with developing several of the powerful risk evaluation and assessment tools Physicians Insurance Members use in both the hospital and outpatient settings to improve processes and implement best practices.

Prior to joining Physicians Insurance, Anne worked as a registered nurse and spent 16 years at Bay Area Hospital, an acute care hospital in Oregon, where she most recently served as Director of Risk Management, Privacy, and Compliance. Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University.
