While employers hope to increase efficiency and productivity through the use of AI, they must also be mindful of an evolving legal landscape, including interaction with employment-related laws.  

Join our VP of Risk Management Anne Flitcroft as she hosts Justin Steiner, an attorney who specializes in employment law. Justin will be sharing his experience on the challenges and benefits of artificial intelligence as it relates to employment practices. More About Justin Steiner
Justin has practiced law for sixteen years, focusing on healthcare, where he has regularly defended providers, clinics, and hospitals in employment and healthcare litigation. Justin's employment law practice also includes counseling employers on diverse issues such as recruitment and hiring, disability and leave, discipline and termination, wage and hour, anti-discrimination, and policy development. He also regularly conducts workplace investigations and enjoys presenting to employers and others on employment law issues. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and B.A. from Washington State University.

In this recorded webinar, our Vice President of Risk Management Anne Flitcroft hosted national specialist Kim New, founder of Diversion Specialists, as she shared the challenges and insights in mitigating drug diversion. In this webinar, learn to describe the impact of diversion by healthcare personnel on patient safety and quality of care, understand practices which can improve drug security and reduce the risk of diversion, and identify basic elements of a drug diversion prevention program. This webinar was originally presented live on April 23, 2024.

More About Kim New
Kim is a specialist in controlled-substance security and DEA regulatory compliance. She has served as a consultant to healthcare facilities across the country for many years and authors regular columns on drug diversion for several publications. More recently Kim assisted a large health system in developing its system-wide drug diversion prevention program with the goal of improving patient and team safety.
